What mods next...

I'm looking to get some new mods.

I've got H&R Sport Springs waiting to be installed.

I'm thinking IceBox + some other suspension mods.

I should probably get new shocks with my springs right? I don't need an adjustable shock. Maybe the Tokico non-adjustables?

Neuspeed Strut bar? Comptech Sways?

What is going to give me the most bang for the buck?

Headers is a little beyond the budget right now.

What about a NEUSPEED STB and Rear sway bar? Would that be a good balance? I'm looking at pure handling mods right now, with the exception of the Icebox.

The shocks have to be removed to install the springs, so replacing the shocks at the same time involves no additional work or cost. You didn't mention the mileage on your car. Lowering the car will definitely shorten the life of the stock shocks. So, you may want to do both at the same time.

Replacing both the front and rear sway bars will certainly reduce body roll. Although Comptech and Eibach front sways are hollow, as are the stock ones, the wall thickness is greater therby increasing the stiffness and resistance to roll. I can't comment on the Neuspeed bars.

The issue of Tokico Performance (non-adjustable) v. Tokico Illumina (adjustable) is also one of ride quality. The non adjustable shocks are equivalent to a setting of "3" (range is 1-5) on the Illumunas. Some posters have found this to be too stiff for the street while others like it that way. It depends on how you want your ride to be compared to stock.

I agree on getting the struts and springs at the same time. I do recommend the Koni Yellows though, i love being able to adjust for the twisties and back for everyday.

dont go cheap on shocks. get adjustables regardless of what brand you get.
btw, i have tokico and they are very stiff even on lowest setting. not too stiff but too much for my taste. however, they have made the cars limit unbelievably high. i think suspension mods have saved from an accident or two.

Not when snow comes in January-March. I'll be getting new wheels w/ summer tires in the Spring.

I'd say at least replace the front shock with a Koni yellow, hile you're swapping springs. I installed springs myself and the front took 3x as long as the rears. Plus, since our car is front heavy, I would imagine the fronts would be more prone to fail then the rears, so your stock rears may last a long time. That's just my theory though.
