What kind of LUBE to use?

What kind of LUBE to use?

I fixing to install my sway bar and I need to get some lube for the bushing. What kind should I get? Also, KY Gel and vasoline will not do the work. Thanks

Look in your local Yellow Pages for a place that specializes in suspension components. They should have the grease you're looking for. It's a special kind that’s very sticky. I've heard it called "marine grease" but your local shop will steer you straight. To prevent squeaking entirely, it would be a good idea to go to Home Depot and pick up a roll of Teflon plumber's tape as well. Wrap the sway bar with the tape under the part where the bushing will clamp down (in addition to coating the inside of the bushing with the grease) and the bar should be quiet for a long time...
