What kind of foglight bulbs should I get for my CL?

Hi, I have been wanting to change my foglight bulbs for some time now ever since I got the car. The main reason is that I dont like the ordinary light coming out of it. Does anyone have some suggestions as to what type of bulbs I should put in there? I was thinking a purple/blueish (kind of like the s2000's headlights) tone, but something that is street legal. Also can I simply replace my bulbs, or do I have to purchase any additinal mounting items? If I can just simply replace the bulbs, is it hard to open everything up to replace them?

One last question, I have seen a few S2000's on the road, and thought I saw a bit of purple light coming out of their headlights. Are the s2000's lights a little bit different than ours, or am I just seeing things?

Thanks

I suggest buying the M6s, they come in a pair and just about perfectly match our HID headlights. You just have to reach under the front bumper to the back of the housing gently twist the bulb ballast out of the housing and replace the bulb. Be careful and gentle when putting the ballast back in with the M6 bulb as it is larger than the stock and must be dealt with care.

They are relative inexspensive and can be picked up at autocarparts.com

Another choice woudl be PIAA 19224. They are also much whiter than stock and 18W like the Polarg M6.

I used the SIZE tag of "small" and the FONT tag "Century". Can't take credit for it, though...saw it on someone else's sig first and decided to do the same. Helps cut down on sig bloat, you know...

Even in your reduced-size sig I see you have the trim kit. Is it the full OEM kit? Is it the blackwood or the burlwood?

changing the bulb will just make your light color changed.that will not brighten your visibility.i will stay on my stock fog light bulb.u need to add a set of real fog light if u want really bright and helpful in your driving visibility.good luck

Well basically all I want to do is change the color of the light to compliment the existing ones. But I want a kind of purple hue to the lights, while still being legal. Is there any bulb I can get that will do this?

Also does anyone know about the S2000 question?

Thanks

I have ordered the m6's, they seem pretty good. The piaas are allright, but I think that yellow would be a bit much.

Thanks for the input

Just like Type S said, the lights on our car are road lamps, and getting better bulbs will just make it look better, but will not help visibility at all. I got PIAA solataires, and they work great.

Whatever you do...DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT touch the bulbs with your bare hands! Wipe them clean with alcohol and handle only with tissue!
