What the hell did I just see???

I just saw something that looked like a 2003 Corvette cross bred with a 1950's Cadillac. It looked wider than a vette, with fixed downward sloping headlights, and it had fins in the back with little ball tail lights up high.

I know the new vette is supposed to have fixed lights...but this thing was just too crazy looking to be a production vette. Anyone have any idea what the hell this thing is?

Sounds like something custom. Was it a modern looking design?

No this thing was crazy looking. I thought at first it was a vette with some weird kit but the front headlights were fixed and the whole front end was built around them... no way it was a kit. It had fins like this but 'modern looking', if its possible to have modern looking 50's fins...

you saw a common kit-car. you can buy all of the body panels that replace the stock panels for any C5 vette!! its not a chevy-endorsed product but it is a direct fit and a direct match. im not sure what the name of the site is or where you can see pictures but i know for a fact that ive seen this as well, at a car show, and in magazines and online. its quite expensive from what i understand as well.

Yeah very modern looking, looked brand new. It was not a classic or anything...

was it a C5 w/ a 50's looking front? i've seen a picture of one before. it was done by a conversion company. i think they're pretty rare and were really expensive.

This is probably not the kit you saw but it's an example of what's available.

Man those crossfires are ugly. Also, am I the only one who thinks that the 350Z vert looks horrible with the top up?
