What the hell was that..!

Question? Every time I start my car and put it in gear i hear this brrrrrrrrp!!! noise from the engine compartment. Any one else have this? if anyone knows what it is let me know.

I just chalked it up to the little machine that makes our sunroof and dashboard rattle!

you know it's either the abs self test,

but once i started getting this other sound and when i turned the key to the II position with the engine off.

so i had the dealer check it out, and sure enough the actuator in the intake manifold that controls the airflow was going bad so they replaced it under warranty.

but from your description it sounds like abs self test.
