yesterday i noticed my rear view mirror was starting to blur. thought it was maybe an air bubble or something but it was inside the mirror. didnt really care cuz it was just a small section of it. then today i noticed that the whole damn rear view mirror was blurry now AND its leaking black crap all over my shifter. tried to wipe off the little smudges off of the "R" on my shifter but it just melted away parts of the R!!!!!!!!! now it looks like i have 2 Parks! i read the threads on this and now im pissed.

i parked in a fire lane while i was unloading my groceries at my apartment at FSU. i made sure i had my emergency flashers on because cops are anal about not having them on if ur parked in a fire lane. i was gone for 15 minutes max. come down, see a $100 parking ticket for parking in afire lane that was issued THREE minutes prior to me coming down! stupid cop must not of seen my *^&^& flashers WERE on!!!!!! then, i try to start my car and move it when i come to find out that my battery has DIED!!! talk about adding insult to injury!!
so i walk in the heat to the FSU police dept and ask if they can send someone to help me jump my car. they say NO they cant send someone to jump my car, but they can give me cables to do it and id have to find someone on my own. what the F*ck?!?!?!?!!?!?! i was extremely pissed at this point. there were plenty of pigs behind their desks looking at me when i walked in and not one offered tohelp. i said "what??? you can send someone to write me a stupid ticket but u cant send someone to help me jump start my car?!?!" and i walked out..called a friend to come help me and then realize that my VSA light, my ABS light, and the exclamation mark VSA light is now permanetly on. what the hell is wrong with my car now?????? the battery is still new.

ahhhhh. k i had to vent. thats all. today sucks

 

having your flashers on doesnt allow you to park in a fire lane...only having a fire truck or other emergency vehical does...sorry about the rest of you problems

 

yeah why did you park in a fire lane for 15 minutes?..anyways the mirror shit doesnt mess around. id take down the mirror until its fixed. damn pigs!

all the streets surrounding my apt. complex are marked "fire lanes." its very common to see cars with their flashers on around my bldg. where else would ppl load and unload their cars at? signs posted up inside of the bldg even say "please move ur car after unloading your vehicle" which implies that its acceptable to park there as long as ur not there for an unreasonable amt. of time AND if you have your flashers on which indicates you are doing so.

 

instead of getting pissed at the police for doing their jobs, why not schedule a court date for your ticket and submit pictures of those signs along with the complex manager stating that it is OK to park and unload there?


the reason the police will no longer offer you a jump has to do with the libility of being blamed if something goes wrong........I cannot blame them on that one....since they DID OFFER you come cables to use.........
