What grade of motor oil to a old OHV engine
my jeep currently has 183k miles on stock tranny and engine.i always use 10W~40W castrol GTX motor oil..but i have found out that after a certain period, oil lose (it has the oil pressure gauge) due to heat or friction...so should i use 20W~50W which is more sticky and good for high temperature egnine..so what do u recommend?thanks

A high miler like that one would prolly be well served with some 20-50. "Good" protection is pretty much out the window as your top priority now and the 20-50 should help you seal a bit better.
At the very least it won't hurt to try it and see. You certainly aren't going to do any damage.
