Today I called my dealer to find out whats up with my car. It's been 6 weeks since i ordered my 03 cl-s red with ebony leather and navi. Every dealer tells me that this a like a needle in a hay stack, but I dont' give a F. Anyway my salesperson at Island Acura in LI, tells me that everything is in the system but he has no build date for the fucking car, and he will call me as soon as he gets it. Why is it taking so long? How long is it going to take for me to get from the build date? Please help! I got no car for the past 6 weeks and have been haivng people drive me around, I hate that!

 

Why dont you try some other dealers? Or do you HAVE to get it in Red? If not, then I'm sure you can pick up another color at this dealewrship or another one...good luck

 

Why not try Park Ave Acura?

 

i dont think there will be any more build dates, my friend at Valencia Acura says there are none, they aint building anymore, just autos now

Try my friend, Jonathan at Ralleye Acura..,tell him Sajjad from Huntington sent you...his dlrship is the largest Acura dlr on the island and they are execellent in terms of service. You have nothing 2 lose by calling him bro

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO do NOT go to Rallye Acura...they charge u SO MUCH up the a$$...want proof??? how bout they wanted $3K more for my Red Rocket than Smithtown Acura, and my family has been Rallye Mercedes/BMW customers for over 20 years...and this is what we get!!! DO NOT go to Rallye...they wanted $33K, NOT including taxes for a NON-NAV!!!!!!!!! :shakehd:

if i were u, i'd check Smithtown Acura or Park Ave. Acura...Smithtown had every possible combo for the CL-S's...their lot is huge...they have the best turnover of inventory on the Island which means lower prices for the customer vs. less turnover and charging u more

Rallye Acura is no joke 2 minutes from my house...u honestly think i would drive almost an hour out of my way for nothing???

it's up to u...$3K difference is way too much from 1 Acura dealership to another...o, and Rallye Acura isn't solely charging u up the a$$...Rallye Lexus, Mercedes, and BMW also rape u, and i got plenty of sources to back me up...i know i sound WAY too passionate bout this, but i hate seeing people waste money on a product u could get for so much less...$3K on a $33K car is about 9%...that's what i saved by going to Smithtown Acura...again, it's your call...best of luck!! u got good taste in color combo's

 

Yeah Scooter has got this one right. My dad bought his RL there and i have friends that buy their BMW and Mercedes there and you really do get raped up the a$$. You do however get to get that coveted little "Rallye" post it that they put on the back of your car showing that you go and you're proud of it. I'm sure there are exceptions to this like unsure was saying. However overall from what i've heard you do really pay more.

Despite their claim on their commercial where "It costs no more to go first class" or something like that.

Wow, I didn't know u guy got screwed arnd like that from Ralleye. The thing is, my friend just started working there and I thought I would recommend him to you guys since he is a nice guy and all. I feel bad for you guys and if you do speak 2 my friend and are not happy w/the price given, just walk away. Sure he's my friend and all but I wouldn't want 2 see a fellow Cl member get screwed in the rear now :'(

 

I got my 02 CL S from island Acura, they beat all other dealers in price, I got Red/parch and had to wait 5 weeks from them to find that color combo also. hang in there they are worth the wait, by the way who is your salesman?

 

Dave Hoffman he gave me a good deal I think i got it for 31,998 for an 03 cl-s with navi taxes not included.

 

I hope u didn't put a deposit down b/c if u did good luck getting it back. they did the same thing to me back in Sept. of last year and they gave me the run around for about a month 1/2 . I was trying to buy a RSX-s and never took delivery. I ended up going to Montclair acura in jersey where they gave such a good deal on my trade I ended up getting a cl-s. The only way they gave me my deposit back, i reported it to my credit card and even threaten to beat the shit out of the manager there. If they don't give u the deposit i suggest doing the same thing. good-luck
