My 03 6mt gets about 21-22 in the city. I have only taken it on a couple long trips and it gets about 28-29.

We get pretty damn good mileage for the size of the engine and power it makes.

didnt wanna start a new thread.

i just used up my first tank. and it only gave me 204, and the lights was on for a little bit. I messed up by not noticing how many gallons i put in it this time i filled up.

I step on it everytime, most of the time WOT. hope thats the reason for it.

i know i filled up atleast 15 gallons, so that comes out to about 14mpg. is that the lowest someone has ever gotten?

On the highway:

85mph -> 26-27mpg
60mph -> 35-36mpg

Around town:
20-25mpg depending on fuel season...

If your always pushing the car up into the upper RPMs, especially if your bringing it close to redline, expect your car to gobble gas. That goes for any car really though.

I'd say fill her up to the tip top, reset your mileage before even leaving the station, then make sure to note how many gallons you put in next time you fill(wait untill the low fuel light comes on at least). Divide the miles you traveled by how many gallons you put in(even include decimal points) and you will have a good estimate of your mpg.

earlier last year, i was averaging 11mpg.

Impressive, I've never seen a v4 Accord.

My brothers old 2003 i4 Accord would struggle to get 25mpg on the highway. My mothers old 04 v6 Accord would get about 30-31mpg. I've mentioned that to a few different people and they've all said it makes sense due to fact that the lower powered motor is pulling the same weight, so it has to work harder to mantain or get up to speed, whereas the v6 doesn't.

I'm averaging about 26-29mpg mixed, but I beat on my car HARD.

The average for this car is around 26 mpg. I get 19 mpg in my CL even though many get better. I think it comes down to A/C use, highway driving, and octane.

I have an Auto and use Sport shift about 97% of the time. I can shift earlier and that has made a difference. 20mph=4th, 35mph=5th. I am one of those great grandma drivers on the road now though. AVG 485-490miles and 32 mpg daily driver.
