what does this mean?

My car was like the 33,000 car out of the factory...does this mean I get the "OLD" cupholders? Are the new ones better than the old ones? Just curious.

New ones are MUCH better ... they are quite deep compared to the original ones. I am not sure on the cutover to the news ones, but the info is in FAQ I think.

I've got the v2.0 cupholder. My CL's #37xxx; DOM 5/01.

I think it's a safe bet that you'll get the new one too. Check the FAQ and look for the tabs.

As for how it works, I dunno. (Haven't allowed anyone to bring any kind of food or drink near my car.)
