What does HLSD do?

I searched, I brought it up in another thread with no info. What is HLSD on the CLS6? What does it do? How do I know when it kicks in?

HLSD = Helical Limited Slip Differential. It is a limited slip allowing power to be fed to both wheels when wheel slippage is felt. You can feel it kick in when you burn out....you ever notice how cars tend to burn to one side...on yours...you should just pull straight.
