they's both dead ...came up on a light and this cobra was just sittin there...it's a big intersection...i can think of better lights to race from 52 and little for you pasco guys east on 52...well i start to go on the light but i then see he puts his blinker on and pulls into the checkers...shit...so i had backed off...maybe he knew i wanted to run but i didnt make it that obvious...so i swing it around back past them and head onto little hoping for some other victim....nothing...so i head back that way thinking they might be done...yep....just pullin out we catch the light one block up...for those of you keeping track the spot where i had the 0-80 run with the WS6....it's asweeper but nothing to tight it could be handled at 100 but we exit the turn at lower speeds than that....anyway he gets the jump...but not much half a car but im pullin...at the top of 2nd i look over and i see him shifting violently..to no avail...im gone startin to walk...i kind let off alittle maybe 80-90% throttle and finished to about 100 mph they came up gave the thumbs up ..asked what i had done,really what was in that thing...i yell all engine 6 ,but i got some work done...the passenger says good work...thanks...and i head back...only to see my next victim,,,the red 300 dual DTM exhaust ,not sure if there were anyother mods...hope not cause this guy took a rapin'...he got a good launch but on the 1-2 i just flew bye....he came up said what is that a TL...CL i yell...he said he's just learning a stick...i said you handled the launch good but i didnt see the 1-2...he said thats cause you were way the fuck up there....2fer gotta love it...

Trust me- he 9 outta 10 didnt have a cams in that car. To put cams ( a total of 4- DOHC engine ) in that car is very expensive so most people spend the money a blower. If it was loud/lopy then he had at least an aftermarket exhaust to go with his wide tires because 96-98 Cobra's are very quiet in stock trim.

Also....from what your sig. says I would think you would be able to hold your own or possibly beat a Cobra with some mods so Nice Kill

Yup- mine makes a weird lopy sound cause of the X-pipe and cat back combo. More importantly then discussing that.. you beat a modded Cobra so Nice job.

The other guys are right about the cams. A 4V w/ cams would be a low 12sec car on DRs. Nobody installs cams w/o P&Ping the heads also.
