Ok I tried to search but couldn't find anything. I wanted to ask in here and not the tl forum because I want a comparison between the cl and tl. So what do you think of the tl? I had a girlfriend that had on and it seems quite a bit nicer than my cl. Of course her car was 2 years newer but it was more than that. The power and brakes were incredible. I'm just not sure I like the looks of it compared with the cl. So give me your opinion.

 

I'm assuming your talking about the 3rd gen TL. I love them. They do need to make a coupe and offer a 6 speed a/t. Honestly I'd rather own a low mile 6-speed CL-S.

 

Note sure what you felt, but power is about the same, It's a little heavier which makes the increase in HP mute. The brakes are about the same POS's the CL comes with stock. The interior is nice, but it's so tech. I like simple & basic over gadgets.

 

Well I have one of each an 03 CLS and a base 08 TL and while the TL does have more frills it's a newer model and that's expected. The CL is sporty and the TL is conservative they both serve their purpose. I didn't really much care for the 09 TL and that's why I didn't wait to get one the rear is ugly to me.

 

i prefer cl's bc i like coupes but i like the knew tl's alot. my friend ashley just got a new tl type-s and its real nice and pretty quick too

 

I got a CL-P and the TL was an 05 so it had about 45 more hp. Anyway it seemed a lot quicker on the gas and the brakes were 10 times better than my CL even after getting new front rotors, pads and a flush. Her TL would stop on a dime. I have driven an 03 Accord with way better brakes than mine also. Maybe I need to check out my brake booster. Anybody know how?

 

driving an 08 now and I do not like the gas pedal......I think the materials are not as nice as they are in the CL but the looks of it are pretty dang good
