What do you think about the C32?

Looks like the TL-S just gained some competition. AMG claims the C32 can accelerate to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 5.2 seconds, 1.3 seconds quicker than the C43 and 0.5 second faster than the mighty E55 AMG sedan. The Engine is a 349HP supercharged 3.2L....

WHERE's our SC (Comptech)?

All I can say is that C32 looks better than C320 and C240. But I still like IS300 and M3 more.

I think this car is sharp looking. I wouldn't mind owning one.

The girl who works for me has a C320. I think she thinks she has one of these because she's says she can certainly beat my 260hp CL-S.

A stock C320 is no match for a CL-S, my friend has a brand new one and we raced, it was an easy kill.

Uh, what are they smoking??!?! The C43 can do 0-60 in the mid 5's. The C32 is nice, but it's shame they had to resort to a blower because the C43 engine won't fit in the new body style. I'd personally rather have the V8.... TORQUE baby!!!

The C32 is replacing the C43 & C55. I think you'll start seeing more Benz's with the kompressor in it.
I myself would be happy with the CLK55.

Car and Driver must have the slowest 0-100km times out of all the mags for the E55 AMG cuz Autoweek, Road & Track, and Motor Trend all have the E55 AMG doing 0-60 mph in 4.8-5.1 secs. In any respect this new C32 is an extremely fast sedan with an auto trans.

Would get the C32...newest platform and very fast, the CLK55 (based off the previous Cclass) and the SLK are dated.

The SLK got a little makeover too... It looks more agressive.

Dude, this car is way beyond the class of the TL-S. This car will slaughter almost anything on the road, INCLUDING the new M3. The factory 0-62MPH of 5.2 is WAY conservative and euro mags have been getting 0-60 times of around 4.6-4.8. This is an AUTOMATIC too!!! So if you are driving your C5, M3, or whatever manual tranny car PERFECT, you'll only lose by a car length or so. If you are anything less than a skilled racer, you will get slaughtered.

RENNtech will make you a Mercedes that will outdo almost anything.

May I introduce the RENNtech CLK-GTX.
Engine : 7.4liter V-12 producing 620hp + 610lb/ft torque.
0-60 : 3.4 seconds
1/4 mile : 11.3@130mph
Top speed : 220mph
You can get an optional 6 speed and it's all street legal for only $300k.

They make some damn beautiful cars

Jerry Seinfeld has an E60 Renntech (one of the few people who can afford one of their full conversions)....they have a more sporty brutal approach than lets say Brabus.

The updated SLK is definitely good looking aesthetically, but the platform is not that new.

C32, as all other AMG modified cars, is NOT just about 0-60 number. Its engine, chassis, suspension and tranny are what the dreams are made of. This C32 is in totally different league and it has only few cars today can keep up with it. As someone already mentioned, C32's 5.2 sec figure is a very conservative figure and the actual number will be well below the 5 sec. One of the coolest thing about this beast is that it can be driven ultra fast by almost any brave soul, thanks to the super-fast-shifting Speedshift automatic tranny. I think it will beat the new M3 unless the M3 is driven by a real expert driver. I made my deposit for this car already and my dealer informed me that my car's build date is in late July. I can't wait to get my hand on it. I'm sure most people here bought CL because its fast and everyday-drive friendly character. Well, to me, C32 is the ultimate Dr. Jekyll and Hide car.

The Brabus C3.8S is not as fast as the C32, but has a lot of potential.
