Well, here's my story. I was talking to a tow truck driver yesterday (he's been driving for 10 years)[two flats for me]. He said he doesn't get many newer Acura's just older Acuras BUT most of his business is in Chryslers. That morning alone he had towed 4 Chryslers and while the Acura's may have a dead battery or flats the Chryslers commonly have engine or transmission failures. This went for old and new alike. He will never buy a Chrysler product. Just an interesting side story, continue on...

For those of you that are bitching about engine and transmission failures in Chryslers, try reading this thread a little closer - the engine AND transmission are Mercedes Benz sourced, NOT Chrysler.

Until it actually hits the streets, I don't see how anyone can make an assumption on quality, especially given the information available. Those comments are right up there with all the domestic-lovers who hate all imports just because they're imports.

I had a jeep Wrangler prior to the CL-S. My girlfreind made me realize the other day that i have had more visits to the dealer with this car then i ever did with my Jeep. As a matter of fact the problem i went to the Jeep dealer was the same one that they could never get right. (they finally did!)...AND it didn't squeek at all. My Acura has been in for one thing or the other since the day i got it. Nothing major mind you, but regardless I am on a first name basis with my service department.

Since this is now a CL bitch fest again, please list your problems.
