What do you guys tihnk of one of these little things for a road trip?

Pretty sweet...had a friend that toured the SW United States and all he had was his laptop and a GPS receiver (I think it was a Garmin handheld, but hooked up to a laptop for better mapping).

He loved it and is definitely cheaper than buying a DVD based system (unless you need to buy a laptop).

Civic, I've seen that thing in action - In my lap! lol A buddy of mine had it...works pretty good. It had my house on the next road over, but all the major stuff was right on. If you already have a laptop you don't mind using, then for $100 it's a steal. Altho I think the $100 is just the GPS thingy, my buddy said he paid like $130 to get all the maps.
