What do you guys think of this color?
I'm thinking about buying a 3.2CL Type-S this color online, but I haven't been able to find one locally to see how it looks in person. From the pictures I've seen I like it, but I wanted to get some other opinions. My only real concerns are (1) if I had to sell it, would it be hard to sell an orange car opposed to say a black or silver one (more conservative colors), and (2) does it looks as good in person as it does from pictures I've found online. Thanks in advance for your help.

Love Hate relationship
i read someone in the posts here that it is a color on the fence, either you love it or you hate it. I have this color, when I first saw the car I hated the color, when i circled the lot and came back I thought it was the greatest color I had ever seen (not knowing it was the same car until someone pointed out that I first disliked it.) I receive a lot of complements on the color and I also have friends who have referred to it as the pumkin colored car (hated it). enough rambling.......
Since it is a unique color it would be a little more difficult to get rid of it unless you found someone else who liked the color.

well it is rare! In case you didn't know, it's called Sundance Gold. Personally I feel it's a great color to use on concepts, but on prod. cars it is so-so. Sometimes i dig it, sometimes i don't. Sorry!

PDG gold
That is the color "PDG" and that is the color car I own...you make a valid point about color and re-sale, but keep in mind that you save money when you buy this car because of the color too. It is a must that you get a spoiler or else the car does not look good. Asking people for personal opinions wont help YOU, but even I 'll admit that the color is not that "pretty" and it certainly grabs attention (not good if police are looking).
I will try to post some pics of mine soon on a web and let you know.

Where is my super sauce?
I think that the 'Sundance Gold' AKA 'Pimpdaddy Gold' was only made in limited numbers due to the *cough* uniqueness of this color.
People loved it or hated it. I guess Acura felt that people hated it and it is currently discontinued.
I think that it's a pretty cool color - that being said, I wouldn't want to look at it every day unless I had my hat on.

I'd seriously consider a PDG CL-S.
In fact, Carmax has one in Greenville (SC) with 4k miles on it for $25k.
That's a tad high, but 4k miles is 4k miles and if I had the downpayment, I'd probably have bought it by now.
I've seen a PDG waxed to the 9's and it looks awesome.

Sundance gold is definitely a polarizing color. I have it and most friends always do a double take when they see it. One problem with it is that people always know its you. People I barely know are always remarking that they saw me at various locations around town. Its a great color as long as you enjoy attention. However, very difficult to lie about your whereabouts. Enjoy. I think there are less than 800 total cars in PDG, with exactly have being navi. --Satya

That color is definately unique, which I think is its best quality. I had a truck almost that color, but with a little more red. You'll definately get looks in that car, just make sure you don't use it as a get away car, easily identifiable.
