i agree, that is a nice bike. I plan on getting either a honda 626/929 or Ninja. Three things to ALWAYS remember when you ride is:
1. Dont ride when the roads are wet
2. Dont ride @ night unless your with other riders
3. If you get in ANY accident, they will try to blame it on you, most of the time
Bikes are fun as sh*t but you gotta be xtra carefull w/ them.

I like it. But I'm with you, I don't want to die early either. My speed; plus there are terrible drivers in this state. How much do those go for?
I've been talking about getting one for about 5 years now, perhaps I'll get a used one and speed/cruise around the countryside on weekends.

Not a bad bike but be better if it was a CBR!!
I've ridden Honda quads since i was probably 10 or 12.(now i'm 19) I now race a 2000 Honda 400 EX(4 stroke) DMC dual headers,DMC silencer, DG nerf bars,Renthal bars,Denton racing steering stablizer, 1/2 inch wider than stock Pure Sport tires on the front end, with Maxxis RaZRs on the backend. Nac's racing parking brake, K and N filter, and K and N jet kit. Yes it's fast No you can't ride it.
my back up quad(don't laugh) is 86 Honda 200 sx with uni filter(that's all the mods)

Nice bike. I thought the same as most people here at first, but after you learn to ride safe, it's not as bad as it seems...and the feeling of riding is nirvana.
Another tip for riding, don't cross the double yellow lines to pass, see it all the time and saw a few too many "aftermaths".

Then sit "side saddle" like you usually do.

I sold my bike last year when I bought the Type-S. I had had it since it was new in 1986. I couldn't have asked for a better nachine than that one, it was a Ninja ZX900R. I miss it sometimes, but don't regret selling it. BTW, it was in showroom condition with only 21,000 miles on it!

get one. i did. my first bike ss a 96 fzr 600. its fast. acually all bikes are fast. i really dont like kawi's though. i much rather have a new gixxer(suzuki gsx-r). the new 1000 runs 180mph stock. imagine what it could run with mods and 100lbs lighter. you just need to be a defensive rider all the time.
