Im thinking about buying a second car and was wondering what I could find used for about 10K. Im thinking I could find a used RX-7 turbo, or something for maybe this, just wondering what you guys would buy?

 

personally I'd look at a (i don't know which Generation or years) Prelude(the ones with the headlights look like the 94-97 Accord) theres plenty of performance parts out there.
according to Kelly's blue book for a 1994 VTEC Prelude with leather and 83000 miles you can get it for 10 grand at the dealer.
I had a friend in high school that had a Accord about this same year maybe a 95 or 96 it was a stout little car.
another car to concider is the good old Acura Legend
for a 1992 2 Door with 90000 miles you can get in it for 10 grand at the dealer.(now I don't know the aftermarket for the Legend that well to tell you if you can get plenty of parts for it or not)
if your not in a rush(far as finding a car) be patient and keep your eyes open your be surprised some of the deals you might find

 

I'm thinkin' about buying a used Jeep Wrangler for the winter. That's what I'd use the $$ for in NYS. Down where you are, I'd buy a nice BMW R1100 on ebay!

u gotta but STOOPID to buy used cars from ANY dealership, esp carmax and those loons. They sell em for THOUSANDS over its real value.

Do urself a favor: know the actual resale value on a car u like and buy it from a private seller. Alot of ppl privately selling their cars dont know how much its really worth so u can easily find a car for a good deal. (and of cource vice versa)


p.s - dont buy used american cars
