I have used the OEM pads, Axxis Ultimate, and Hawk HPS.

The OEM pads suck (obviously)

The Axxis Ultimate pads gave the best performance but with tons of dust and noise

The Hawk HPS pads are quiet and little dust but they don't perform nearly as well as I had hoped.

Not counting the BBK, OEM, Axxis Ultimate (and I agree with you on the dusting), Porterfield R4-S. I've always had good luck with the Porterfields on my other cars and so far, it's my favorite on the TL. Less dust than the Ultimates but very strong performance. Composition is Carbon-Kevlar if I remember correctly.

I am still running OEM in my CL but on my Accord I've used OEM, EBC GreenStuff and now Satisfied Pro OEM. My favorites by far were the EBC Greenstuff's, they were great. Slightly dusty but great feel.

Satisfied Pro Ceramic here. They are fine. Dustless & silent.
Only minor thing is the pads smell bad after hard use.

I'm running the Axxis Ultimates with R1 Concepts rotors and I have to agree, great gripping power but TONS of dust and squealing.

Axis metalmaster should be renamed to axis squeakmaster. they are noisy, dusty, and not that great. I am going to try the greenstuff if I can find some..

Excuse me for being naive, but even though it's a pain to clean up the brake dust, isn't that better for the rotors? Plus, doesn't it also mean that the brakes are doing their job? I am seriously asking this, I'm not trying to be a smartass!

The rotora ceramics are awesome...not that squeaky unless you feather the brake pedal. Not a lot of dust either.

the EBC Redstuff work great. not much dust plus zero squeaking. they've endured a few mountain runs and some of my moderate to heavy braking at all speeds and they seem to do the job right.

edit: this is the poll with the most options i've ever seen.

I've had stock pads and EBC Greenstuff pads.

The EBC's were the best, but they were kinda soft. They lasted about 12K to 15K miles. I liked the low dust and noise. And would 100% buy them again. I would rather change pads often and not have a lot of dust and noise.

I can repeat the same, got about 22K or so on mine but loved them. I ran Metalmasters before, great stopping power but will dust up pretty badly. I just got use to washing the wheels. I did notice with the Metalmasters if you didn't clean the dust off regularly you could see small rust particles settle around the rims.

I think I'm gonna go back to the Axxis Ultimates and just deal with the noise and dust. They lasted a long time and performed great.

OEM, and hawk HPS is what i have used. Greenstuff is going to be the next thing i try. the hawks have been better than the stock, but like others said...not by much.

i have tried ebc and the ultimates but my fav. are the metel masters! yeah they give off a lot of junk but they do the stopping job the best out of all the other pads. they endure harsh braking, heating and mistreating with zero noise and no fading only negative is the dust and repetetive wheel cleaning

update on the EBC Redstuff: these are the perfect pads. i've had them on for just over a year with my Rotora S & CD rotors and Goodridge stainless steel mesh brake lines. there is no dusting, noise or fading. i've done some hard braking, gone on a couple of canyon/mountain runs and these are still going strong.

I have used EBC Greenstuff on my Wife's 3.2 CL-s.
With "Brembo" blanks from Tire Rack.
Granted most of the miles are highway.
She got 50,000 miles out of them. Just replaced them this past month with the same set up.
