Well I wrecked her :-(

I wrecked my baby 2 weeks ago coming home late at night. Hit a curb head on and barely missed the light pole in front of me. The wreck took a hunk out of my wheel and pushed my front suspension to the left. Not really any body damage but now I'm getting a whole new front suspension.

I think it hurt me more than it did the car. SUCKS!!!! I love that car. Just got it in Feb after trading in an Xterra that I had. In October of 01 it was in a wreck also, but wasn't my fault. When it rains it pours!! :'(

I was thinking though.....while it's in the shop, now's the best time to get a spoiler. That's one thing I didn't get at the point of sale and wish I had. Has anybody had any experience with non OEM spoilers or should I stick with the OEM spoiler? Also where's the best place to buy them?

Thanks for any help.

btw: I didn't take pictures of the car. Couldn't find my smart media card but I do have pictures of my Xterra if anybody wants to see them.

cough, cough......so OEM eh? Should I get it painted at the shop or order it pre-painted?

Also, where do you suggest I buy it?

You can go OEM for the spoiler, but it will cost you a fortune. Try http://www.wingswest.com ...they could be a lot cheaper!!

While you have it in the shop, why dont you upgrade your suspension with coilovers or springs and sway bars.

Yeah I really want to do that but I'm completely clueless on that stuff. I wouldn't know where to start. I do want my car lowered but I want to make sure I do it right. What you think the cost would be to lower the car and put the sway bars on?

Plus, how much should I lower it?

I'm scared to do too much to the car cause I'm afraid I'll f*ck it up.

Damnit I miss my car!! I'm driving a POS Ford F150 right now as a rental. Those sorry Fords have no pickup!! (no pun intended)
