I love supra's, but the late 90'S body kit's got to go. 2 gay 2 curious IMO. Body work does look like it was nicley done..but...molded body lines eventually = cracked junk. hey if your happy... good for you... shit I wish I had a STT . lol

With the future plans i meant that I would take out the steering wheel tv POS and put the stock airbag back in or find a 1998 3 spoke wheel and put it in. Same goes for the passenger side bag since its not there either.
As far as what you guys see in the pics and what its like in real life is completely different. Its kinda what made me actually go for it. The pics that I saw of the car were good and all but I was on the fence with the car when looking at them. I figured I'll drive up to Maine to see the car and if I like it then I'll take it and if not, oh well, I would have lost $200 in gas and $40 in tolls. No big deal.
Then seeing the car and walking around it noticing the curves in the body and such kinda make you change your mind.
There is no possible way to get the panels off. Everything is molded really well. Oh and its not some cheap ass kit. It might have been but you cannot even get the normal weak spots to bend at all. By that I mean places like right behind the rear wheel and front bumper. The normal spots that move in any kit.
But damn was I right when I said that many will hate me for this. Just like any move that I make with anything on the CL..
Its funny though, I keep thinking that its all because of jealousy with this one but I'd rather not go into that.
Please note, these are only my thoughts. No need to comment on them.
But I have to say, the sound of the 2J is just amazing. Love the way that it spools and gets boost. Nothing like a V6 at all.
One last thought, what happened to "To each his own?"

i know these comments are rough especially after spending that kind of money, but all i see is a guy passionate about supras especially his new one! dude congrats.
just realize you're showing this car to a bunch of people that have chosen a somewhat quick luxury car as their ride...no comparison. might as well go on a bentley arnage forum with a bunch of old farts and say look at my supra, they wouldn't get it.
now with this said, modded cars are hard to sell b/c its hard to find an owner to liek what has been done aesthetically. not the best looking supra, but the thing is nice! what is worth the money is the fully built engine with insane potential!! probably can become fastest car in w/e state you're in...amazing
congrats and take care of her!

I saw the car in person for the first time tonight. You HAVE to see it in person to appreciate it, pictures do nothing to show the actual curves or the color of the car. Yes, the previous owner did go a little overboard, but I like the direction Art's going in already.
It's not a cheap body kit or anything like that, it's solid and well molded. And it just sounds gorgeous.
I know 99% of you are hating, but whatever. You can't tell me you wouldn't jump at the chance to have a fully built Supra w/ twin turbos.
Art I'll have the pictures you wanted ready for tomorrow.
