Ok so this isn't life or death or anything BUT it's still something that crosses my mind here and there.

So this is the issue/if there is one

Every time I turn the car on no less than 45 seconds later (while driving) there are 2 SMALL waaaaa noises about 15 seconds apart that seem to come from god knows where.

it only happens when the car has been started 2 times.... one after the other..and the timing of it all the time is quite consistent.

Almost as if something is being calibrated by the engine or trans or SOMETHING..

The car drives 100% like new but this noise is just a doozy! Call me anal or whatever, I'm just interested in why it's happening, (probably one of those $1000 pointless noise problems) but what do I know about this specific car... not a hell of alot to diagnose that.

So yea, I start the car and it only happens in drive while the car is moving. Sounds like a groaning noise, but a subtle one.

And after those 2 little groans they disappear till the next time. LOL

funny issue eh?

does anyone have a clue about this one?

coulda read the FAQ thread, it would have told you what it was.

 

You know...I was wondering why some of the people that have been on the boards for a while don't get on Azine anymore...They tell me its because of questions like this...

for the record, NO OFFENSE at ALL to the OP...but damn it. I'm starting to realize how some of the veterans on this site feel and I've only been here since June '07..

for the record, ill say it again, it is not my intent to offend anyone, but i understand these threads will continue as long as the car is in existence, and I admit, i asked some of the same questions myself at one point in time, no shame about it.
