i got this problem with my factory alarm on 97 cl .Alarm goes off any time it wants and will not turn off until the car battery dies. no siren just all lights flashing. even when i lock or unlock my door with remote no chirps no sound at all. same thing when i hold panic button lights will flash wont turn off until battery dies.i know you can disable and enable the sound (chirps) with a remote but this dosent work either. had battery tested at dealer and its good horn is good too ,was told there its bad actuator .i disconnect the actuator but the same problem and i dont thing actuator will cause no sound.does anyone know how to disconnect the alarm. i disconnect the alarm box which is under passanger seat but with it disconnected car wont start maybe just have to cut some of the wires on the box ?

 

tested alarm last night and when i hold panic button lights will flash and it will stop after about 1 minute, but still no sound
