Wedding....What won't scratch the paint?

Mods, you can move this to the appropriate forum)

Hi all,

I wanted to see who would know what would work in decorating our car (or any other car for that matter) for a wedding but not scratch or damage the paint. Should I stick anything on it, tie it on, use bows, ribbons, balloons...whatever

I've got no good ideas right now

I need ideas as I'm getting married and I may either use my CL, my brother's G35 sedan, or my friend's Ferrari. If I can do something that won't damage the paint, then I'll use the Ferrari

Any ideas?

Thanks!

You could go to Home Depot or something, and ask for non-residue tape that comes off clean. Probably a 3M product. for sure.

Congratulations. If you come on the boards in 6 months saying your wifey made you get rid of the CL-S6 for a minivan, we'll automatically assume that she cut off your balls.

Don't deface any car with such drivel.

I find the whole car decoration thing quite tacky.

IMHO, YMMV...

(you can probably use paint masking tape without an issue -- it's desinged not to stick tightly)

I was thinking, if I had the 360 Modena, I'd just swap out the plate w/ a custom novelty one, but can't figure out something that would fit....like JST MRRYD, but not sure if it can fit.

Gotta find a plate maker that will do an AZ plate and maybe be able to put 2 lines on it.

I don't want to stick stuff on the car, but you know how women want everything decorated. Wouldn't a bright red Ferrari already show off enough?

good luck with that sticking to the car if it rains.... When I taped up a show car that had a 300 + mile drive on the highway, it rained that day and most of the tape came right off when he was driving down the highway in the rain..
