weapon R intake

does anyone have this intake? how do you like it? where did you buy it? do you feel like you gained any horse? thx

I have one. It's fine...like any other intake except for the filter design, which creates a humming noise, not unlike a tuning fork..at idle. I got it from Weapon-R...it's my friend's company. Yeah, it feels like you gained hp (AKA loud noise = speed... )...he dyno'd it on a 2.3 Prelude...produced 6 hp at the wheel. Increase in hp is directly tied to displacement....so, I figure maybe 8-10 hp at the wheel..<---this is probably generous. On the subject of a CAI, yes...it is probably a bit better...but after the intake starts sucking...a short ram is just as good if not better.IMO.
