R32! Buttoned-down looks and hot-rod performance from the factory. As for reliability, I'd certainly chance it and feel good. Besides, no worrying about mods affecting your Honda warranty.

Judging from the pictures of the accord engine there will not be a header option. That whole manifold looks like it is a single unit that will not be able to be replaced like ours can currently.

thats thing i heard Honda changed the exhast manifold so you can't put on performance headers(like Comptech and OBX) on so basically it's on piece(that sucks)

I still think that would be a good race between a R32 and slightly modded stick 03 Accord V-6.

my g/f wants me to go with the R32 but dad wants me go Accord V-6 stick

AV6 will be another one of those hondas that will be EVERYWHERE!

i think the VW im picturing is the R32, if it is, DEF go with that, its a very cool lookin car, not going to be on every street corner like the accord, plus i know this is superficial but, R32 has more of a sport sound to it than honda accord coupe. isnt the R32 RWD also?

I'm leaning towards Accord. Stock might not be quite as fast as the R32, but I just think it looks a tad more matured...maybe even a little classier(?)
But then again, I am biased toward Honda. I mean, this IS an Acura site. lol

to italian:it's all-wheel drive(to compete against the WRX, and the new Mitsu Evo)
I'm leaning toward the R32 just cause they will be produced in limited numbers so it will be like the Type R not everyone and their grandma has one

Get the one w/ the most room in the back seat... it's painful lying on top of a stick

R32 by far.

Looks incredible, and the bottom end of VAG cars are rock solid. They can take a lot of mods.

The accord looks wierd. Far from european by any measure. And why are they trying to be European? Ever here of Audi trying to be Japanese?

I loved the last accord coupe, but this one looks too wierd for me.

Accord. My cousin has a 2k1 Jetta 1.8t and we are fixing it every weekend for stupid reasons. Hazzard light switch, CEL bacause of CAI, changing the daytime running headlights far too often ETC.

I am also 6'4" and I say there is no way you will fit into that VW. I sat in a Passat and couldn't get comfortable.

Go with the Accord. Get one soon and you will be one of the first.
