We need a limited slip diff.

Hey guys,
After you do the basic H/I/E mods and the comptech suspension stuff, I feel that we could benifit tremendously from an LSD. Would anyone be interested, and willing to email Quaife or Kaaz or Torsen? Nobody that I have found currently makes an LSD for our cars. Both our handling (no more inside wheel slipping, reduced or eliminated understeer, eliminated torque steer) and our off the line performance (greatly enhanced traction)would improve.
Kevin

i know a company makes them for the accord v6. But that is a different tranny. Also, do any of you guys know how come both our tires spin during a burnout opposed to one that is supposed to happen on non-LSD cars?

I've thought about this too. My Integra Type R had an LSD and I loved it. Quaife might be our best bet. I think they make the best LSDs. I would definitely want a helical gear based LSD opposed to one that uses friction plates or clutches.

Both tires will spin unless there is something that keeps one from getting the same amount of traction as the other. For example, if you are turning or one wheel is in a puddle.

Hey TypeR,
That would be a great start! See what your buddy has to say if nothing else, maybe he can point us in the right direction.
