Ouch. You sure that's not for springs+labor?
Was looking into getting springs for my ride at Park Ave Acura. The PAA site lists $519+tax for the whole deal.

I go to a private shop, he did a great job installing Dinan springs in my long gone Mcoupe for $290.
But, I just got violated by him last week....$540 to put in high flo cats (Dodge), I knew it wouldn't be cheap- but I was like .

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sorry, that's the most ridiculous price I've ever heard in my life for just install.
I forget what I paid for my Comptech springs but I got 'em around $300 IIRC. The install for springs and sways combined cost me around $140.
Oh and it was done by an Acura certified tech.
Oh and it was authorized by a dealer.
Oh and it was done AT a dealership.

I just had my competch springs installed at a place called F1 in Encino (LA area) for $140, and they are real good! All they work on is BMW's, and Mercedes pimped out cars! Just my 2 pennies!

I hope that price includes the Brooklyn bridge LOL we currently charge 240 labor for the springs and 49.95 for the alignment tax is extra. Our website lists all of current pricing so a quick visit there will answer any questions.WWW.PARKAVEACURA.COM Jens

Jens,
Any help you can help me convince my SA at my Acura dealer that they arent competetive or is there some short cuts that allow your labor to be reasonble.
I need springs now but i have a problem paying more than double at a fellow acura dealer for labor. Do you use a book rate or just personal experience??

Tell them to go check the Comptech website .They suggest a labor allowance of 3 to 4 hours for the job so we went with 3 hours. This is not a tough job by any stretch of the imagination. However at 3 hours one does need to hustle a bit so tell them if I can do this profitably so can they.Jens
