Wayne, Jens or any Acura SA's etc.....
Am I wasting my time complaining to client services that your spring install is billed at 3 hrs labor and my dealer wants 6 hours labor.
My beef is...why should I pay for these people to learn how to install springs on my car and to learn at my expense. i even talked to the guys at Comptech and they said it is straitforward and 3-4 hours...closer to 3 if you know what you are doing.
590.00 is absurd for spring install and alignment only.

If you are calling client services at Acura they most likely would not be able to assist you.Remember custom part installation is something the dealer does not have to do so it is most likely going to be a case of them charging what they feel is right.I would shop around and see if there is another dealer or reputable shop that will do the job in the Comptech suggested time of 3 to 4 hours.Be wary of shops that quote ultra low prices.Although they are sometimes good shops my experience has shown me otherwise after people have gone to these low price outlets and then appear at my door with problems.Jens
