washed + waxed, took it for a drive

so i spent a good amount of time yesterday washing and waxing up the cl. i took it for a ride and i noticed a newer model maxima following me around. i pulled into a gas station and the guy hopped out.

"hey you tryin to sell the ack?"

i was a little hesitant to tell him i was looking at new cars. figured it would make him think he could get a deal.

, we talked i took down his number and he seemed really interested in buying it for 13-15k. im definatly considering selling it to him now.

its an auto 01 type-s w/ navi, SSM/ebony, 73k miles

sell?

I would have sold it then and there. I would have walked home. That's a great deal for an 01.

well, i took down the guys name and number and he seems really interested, id like to show him the damage my girlfriend did the the paint on the back bumper before i take an offer tho ugly cracked paint. but other than that theres very little wrong with it. a little crack in the dash and needs a new hinge for the top compartment for the center console. hope he doesnt mind... ill probly end up taking 13,5 for it since hell try to talk to me down after seeing those things. but hey, i only paid 15,6 for it a little over a year ago. most expensive thing ive put into it was new tires 2 months back for 200 bucks a pop.

Good luck. I would have him check out the car on his own. If he brings up the damage, then explain it. Other wise....STFU about it and move on.

I had a guy who worked at a restaurant asking to buy my car, he must have asked me 4 times, 'What is it, a Honda?' and I told him 4 times it was an Acura.
Seemed weird to be interested in buying a car and not know anything about it.
I don't think he knew what I meant when I said it was a 6speed.
I guess I should have told him it was a BMW or a MB. but since it was a fast food place I assumed he didn't have a lot of disposable cash laying around.

good luck on your possible sale.

lol, thanks.

my girlfriends dad is actually interested in it now also. hes looking to get rid of his v6 accord. i could tell him that im not accountable for his daughters damage  id rather sell it to some random guy though that way if theres any problem with the car in the future i dont hear about it for the rest of my natural born life
