Warrenty?!?!?!?!

if i have headers , intake , exhaust and other mods added to my cl. can i take it into the dealer the way it is to be serviced? or will they hassle me? does this stuff void your warrenty? what about NOS? i heard theres a way they can detect residue of it?

NOS is not advisable. They can detect it. But only if they are looking for it. If they find it, well, then they can void the warranty. I heard of only 1 person who had this happen. The headers are 50 state legal, & will not void the warranty. The intake is the same. The exhaust is not an issue too. There's some law(I forgot what it's callled) but it says that a auto dealer has to prove in a court of law, that the modifaction caused the problem. Like if the engine blew up, & they tried to say it was the headers, they would have to prove it. In any case bringing the car to a dealer for maintance, or a warranty item with mods shouldn't be a problem.

Just find a dealer who sells and supports aftermarket parts. If they install it, it's pretty much covered.
