Warranty transfer?

Getting to know Cls a bit, is there any trick to transferring the orig warranty? Seems like the trans needs to be covered. I'm getting it from a S/ FL used dealer unfortunately.

BMW sez anything that affects the problem that occurs voids that part of the warrantyie: new hot cams and a timing chain goes...

There's a post card that's in the back of the warranty manual that comes with the car. Just detach, fill out, and send in.

When I sold my CL the warranty was transferrable. The guy I sold it to had to pay $65 or something like that to get it transferred to his name... but that was it.

As for the trany warranty... that should transfer with the car as the VINs that are affected are automatically covered.... but you may want to ask just in case.

I think all you have to do is fill out that card phipark mentioned. That's what I did. I didn't have to pay to transfer it. Went to the dealer and had some warranty work done, no questions asked.
