Warranty on Pulleys

Warranty on Pulleys
Does anyone know how bad it is towarsd warranty when you install pulleys. Will it void anythign and if so what part of the car do you think acura would no longer cover. Thx

Also does anyone know if installing Pulleys requirest alot of work or tools. I want to try and install them myself and was also thinking if they did kill hte warranty, i could just switch back the old pulleys whenver i need to bring the car in but not sure waht labor is required.

The only part of the warrenty it it will void is the part that is affected by the pulleys from what I understand. If you have a car problem and they trace it to the pulleys the issue is not covered under warrenty.

it is suppost to void your warrenty. but i have the AEM pullies on my 3.0CL and the acura dealership has said nothing about them i get warrenty work done all the time. it is kind of trickey putting the pullies on.you need a good amount of tools.

HMm well maybe i WIll get them. Did you notice a nice improvement after putting them on.. I havebeen warned that my AC might get worse and my lights might dim. did you notice any probs like that? Oh what kind of tools do you think i will need. I have the typical things like a large set of crafstman mechanical tools but nothign fancy like a hoise or anything. Got any tips on waht is required? Thx for responding, it really gets me thinking on getting these pulleys.
