Warranty issues
bottom line: they may try and tell you this, but there is no legal way for them to void your entire warranty. if you change the pulleys, then obviously your aftermarket pulleys wont be warrantied. read up on Chod's FAQ for more clues ...
Yeah
They legally can't, but they can void it if the part is responsible for failure. In example CAI sucks up water into your headers. Your Fault, you pay. Another example you get 20's and your actuator goes out they replace, they pay.

I think you have the right idea though. They cannot void your warranty unless they can prove that the aftermarket part(s) caused the failure or problem on your car.

A CAI can, as it sits low, whereas a normal air input is at the top of the engine compartment (2/3 of the car would be under water before a normal air input could suck water), so you pay because the sucking of water was caused by a device you put on the car. I don't think he ment "headers".

ANY water ingestion will usually be the owners fault. CAI or no CAI. Bad example for a 'warranty issue'.
