I have a CL that I want to trade in for an S2K I found on Autotrader. Unfortunately the car is out of town so that's dilemma number one.

I know there are independent dealers that will buy cars to turn around to sell to you for a small profit. Where do I find those?

I want to go this route because I've had infinite trouble selling the sucka and I know I'll save some tax by trading it in.

any advice would be appreciated.

My local dealer actually offered to broker my deal when I sold my 1st CLS to an individual and bought another from autotrader (out of state). but the dealer had a bad rep and was trying to rebuild it and I had bought the first CLS from them. the dealer was actually gonna buy the new car for me and then either buy my old CLS or sell it to my buyer.
Anyway, if you havea relationship with a dealer they might do it, it would have saved me $1000 in tax but I just sold mine myslef and bough the new one.
