I would look into a powered Bazooka. This provides the cleanest bass of the Tube subwoofer set up, plus you won't have to worry about buying an amplifier either....and tie it right behind your seat...instant bass that'll shake the seats and give you that true Bose feeling...

Want more bass-Question on Sub Type???
Bose needs more bass!! Don't want to lose trunk space and I want the spare tire in there. (Hey I'm old and need a spare!) What do you guys think of those "tube sub woofers"? I know it's not the best choice but I can move it in the trunk to make room for stuff if need be. Plus I could put a couple hundred watts across it. Thoughts from you sound experts?

Larry- like where you put the amp....same place I was looking at today...........did you remove that plastic piece behind it? Guy I talked to said no smaller than an 8" or it's a waste.

I agree, I had 2 Sony Xplod 12" subs powered by a 100x2 amplifier, alot of my friends were clowning, but I paid next to nothing for them, they sounded pretty d*mn good and they're the best bang for the buck sub, IMO. Although my Infinity Perfect powered by 600 watts sounds like 5x better If space-saving is what you're looking for , you should check out the Infinity Basslink, it comes self-amplified, and the box is pretty small too. I think it puts out around 200 watts, I'm not sure...I heard it, and it gives out a decent amount of bass, something that won't blow your ears out, and they're pretty inexpensive too (around $300). I'm thinking about changing my setup to that, since I will need the trunk space later on this summer. BTW, you can't go wrong with Infinity! My $.02.
