Driving around the Capitol Beltway here in DC, (RT 495 to you local folks) I had a run in with a Black 2000 Nissan Maxima SE. The rat bastard was running his car up against a POS civic with stickers on it. seeing that I had my radar detector on and it was Sunday morning, the roads weren't that full. I caught up to him around exit 28 right before College Park after he smashed this loud as civic, and around 65mph I rolled my window down and waved him to go at it with me. THIS SON OF A BITCH LAUGHED AT ME!!!!!!! Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh I was pissed then! So I waved him again and revved the car a bit, so he jumped at me, but I was already in D3, so when he jumped and got about a car in front of me, I punched it and hung with him until the VTEC kicked in around 80mph, then he slowly started seeing me blow by him. I shifted to D4 just over 100mph and he kept coming so I kept going. Before I knew it, we were hitting exit 23 and I had him by a good car length and looked down to see 125mph, so I shut her down and let him catch up - he shook his hand at me and drove on, I dropped over 3 lanes to catch my exit.

I was really shocked that I pulled on the Max, I guess the mods do work in real life situations!

 

What GReddy cat back do you have? I didn't think they made a bold on for our cars. That'd be slick, esp considering I just dented the tips on my stock one...stupid shitty TN roads...grrrr....

Nice kill! Auto 2000 Maximas are slow.

 

Only the 2001 Anniversary Edition and Infiniti I30 models had 227hp. The rest (2000-2001 models) had 222hp.
