are you guys buying this thing blind??? i mean do you have any clue WHAT the updates even are?? shawn, how pissed are you gonna be when your town in the middle of nowhere and the surrounding area is STILL not on this update?? can you get a refund???

seriously though, does anyone actually know exactly what these updates are? i mean is it really worth the 200 bucks for an updated DVD that has more coverage of some states out west or something?? what purpose does it serve at that point? you will never take your car to the areas that are updated (theoretically) so whats the point? same goes maybe for some poor shmo out in bumblefuck california somewhere and wants more coverage but guess what, the new coverage is in the midwest and hardly anything in his area. i would never buy this kind of thing unless i knew exactly what i was getting and i knew it was of at least some value to me. spending 200 bucks blind like this seems somewhat foolish.

Give an update on the disc as soon as you get it. Want to know what has changed (more POI etc). Not too worried about the map portion because my 2001 is still doing fine. Thanks

There’s DEFINITELY more POI. THAT we know.

It’s gone from 3-million to 7.5 Million.
