vtec engagement points
OK, I'm making another map for the E-Manage.
Does anyone know when vtec engages for the 2003 TL-S / CL-S?
Don't flame me, I tried the search button and got at least half a dozen different answers.

Being that it was set to 6500 rpm, I don't think I've experienced the full effect of the IC kit yet
. Tommorrow aught to be fun
.
"yes IMRC opens at 3800 (but should be disconnected on your supercharged car)" - blader
I was thinking about hooking the IMRC wiring to automatically turn my flashers on
. Seriously though, there's got to be some way to make use of the IMRC ckt, the wires are just dangling in the engine bay right now

BTW, ignore those VTEC setting in the E-Manage. The wires are not hooked up at all. I used the E-Manage's VTEC control output to trigger a buzzer warning me of the redline approaching. Your car is running off of the stock VTEC control system.
But just FYI, the VTEC change over point for the J32A2 is 4800 RPM.
The IMRC (now irrelevant to you) is 3800 RPM.

Yeah, I was reading the Sacred E-Manage thread archive last night. I guess there was alot of trouble with vtec. Also, I was going to change the boost cut to 2.8, but after reading the thread I'm going to keep it at 2.7 vdc.
Scalbert - ". I used the E-Manage's VTEC control output to trigger a buzzer warning me of the redline approaching."
I thought 6500 was alittle high for vtec, makes sense now though
