I'd still like to meet up with you, Mr. Scalbert. You seem real cool.

I prefer to use Arthur's shop, Dynolab, in Marietta.

The EU with supplemental harnesses is $615:

http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/#E-manage%20Ultimate:

But you would probably want to use a PnP harness so add about $250 on top of that.

But you cannot compare the EU and the VAFC, the EU can do 100x more.

Also, you should get headers on that car first. No sense in adding electronics when the manifolds are still choked.

Steve any idea why in the list of applicable engines they list the J35A but not the J32?

So either way, I need to dump my VAFC. Okie dokie. $615 isn't so bad. I was thinking that it will be like $2k extra. lol.

you would have to order seperate, the link that scalbert put up there is a nice place to buy it. I got some items from that person also. Usually received the items in 2-3 days. Good luck

Since the blue E-Manage worked and there was no listing for it, the EU should also work. It took me a while to get the settings correct on the blue unit but now that I know what it is looking for, the EU should be fairly easy. We'll know for sure in a week.

Yes, sell the VAFC.

Remember to add in $$ for the PnP harness. You really don't want to hack up your factory wires when there will be about 35 - 40 leads either tapped or intercepted.

As mentioned, the link I supplied is a good source for the EU.

This is supplemental if/when the SC is applied. It will just need a different tune.

I have quite a bit of experience in getting the E-Manage working with the J-Series which is why I am offering to help.

YOU ARE PROBABLY EXACTLY RIGHT. I will be the first to admit that i am not a tuner, just a guy who enjoys his car and playing around with it. My Vtec stock kicked in about 3300-3500 somewhere around there. I didnt buy the VCAF brand new... it was in an H22 in my area. It was tuned to his car and the guys who installed it didnt change anything except the 4cyl. setting to a V6. So my vtec kicked in at like 5700-almost 6000 something like that.

All I was saying before was that I felt a difference. Maybe i didnt, maybe i'm just trippin', but either way, i asked a question and was basically laughed at and wasnt helped at all. It was rude, and isnt the help i am looking for. I also didnt realize till after i posted that it was the 2nd gen cl forum, SO MY BAD! I could have chosen some better words and comments but thats what i said at the time and i am sorry. Being a moderator, and knowing SO MUCH, he should have answered my questions politely and maturely. I know the basics, i know what a blow off valve is. I dont ask questions about pssfttt sounds, so treat me like an adult and i will do you the same.

I hope you're not thinking that I'm getting my stuff in a week. I will hopefully have it in early December. Wanna help me install the whole sha-bang?

You've got a PnP harness? You're local too. What setup are you running/planning?

I hope you are not planning on having things soon as I have no time available.

As previously mentioned, get headers before anything else and then we can start talking about installation.

I won't have the SC until atleast late November. I should have the headers installed next month. Should I get the ice box now, or wait until I get the s/c package?

Wait, no reason to go through the expense. Just pull out the factory intake resonator for a little gain.

Who is doing the headers install?

Yes, a driving school or a savings account.

Seriously though, headers should be the next item (or possibly the first items) for the J-Series besides intake and exhaust.

I am hopefully getting the Alpha Werks with my next pay check. So if you'd like to help, you're more than welcome to.
