Arrow VSA Light...

I'm posting this quite late, but whatever. A few weeks ago, I was driving and I looked down at my gauges, and I noticed that the letters VSA were lit up, and the actual VSA {!} triangle shit was lit up too. I tried hitting my VSA button but that obviously didn't do shit. As soon as I get home, I shut the car off, and chill inside for a while. Later that night, I went to leave and turned the car on, and the lights never re-appeared. Can somebody explain to me what the problem could have been?

it's the indicator that something was/is wrong...usually associated with a CEL but these will go away if the problem is not persisting after three cold starts...even though the lights arent lit ,there still could still be a code stored ...you can find out by taking it to any autozone/pepboys for free...if there's nothing, i wouldnt worry about it, unless/until it happens again

Check your firewall gasket. That's where the VSA module is located. If the firewall Gasket is going bad, that would trigger your VSA module to go bad, as well.

i will have to keep that in mind, i had an issue with mine last summer where the vsa and abs lights would come on while driving, and the systems were offline. they replaced a vsa relays switch, and after 6 months it started up again. not all the time though, once every few weeks.

I wasn't being real. That was a joke. I was just playing around. Trying to see how many people would pick up on it. Sorry for the misconception.

I was experiencing similar behaviour with the VSA lights on my CL-S a while back. At first
it was very intermittant and when I would restart the car they would clear. Over a few
weeks it became more and more frequent. When I took the car in to the shop, it was
diagnosed as a faulty rear speed sensor. It was replaced (under warranty) and all is well
again.
