Voltage issue

I've been having a reoccuring voltage issue with my car. The last time my car went out I replaced the connectors and it was fine. Now 6 months later I have the same issue where I suddenly lose voltage.

The battery is only 1 year old. I have scanguage and my voltage reads normally at 14.3 volts but when everything goes out it reads 7.7-8 volts. I have to wait an hour or 2 then the car cranks up no problem voltage again reads 14.3 volts.

I'm thinking I have a messed up battery cable. It is either that or I need a voltage stabilizer??? What do you guys think?

I found the source of the problem. I have a corroded positive cable. I bought the car years ago from a stupid guy who didn't crank the car for months. He let the battery die and I bought it as is.

I just hope more things aren't messed up and corroded.
