Voiding warranty??

I have a used 01 cls and have the 7 year warranty on the car. The dealer said it covers a lot of things but one thing specific he siad drew my attention; streetracing. I asked him how they could tell and he told me that they can pull up everything through the ECU. Ex, your top speed youve gone, when you shift, if you redline, etc. So of course i have had to test her out a bit agaisnt some local ricers who thought they were cool. I have gone 120 in my car (i know it was dumb) and i have redlined it a lot when racing. So what Im asking is how much do they take this into consideration, if it is even true, and do you think i have already voided my waranty? any help would be appreciaed.

There is no such thing on the CL. They can only pull data for a triggered code. If you don;t have a check engine light, don't worry. If you do, buy a ODBII code scanner & read what the code is. You can also erase codes with it.

Streetracing...void your warrant??? I have heard of drag racing at a track causing warranty issues but streetracing? I could go on for about a page about how that's total crap. They dealer is just trying to scare you.

I would have to agree. I've driven my car hard and taken it back to the dealer for warranty work. They never told me anything. And I've told them that one of the things I like about the car is how fast it is.
