while they may provide esthetic benifets, generally in the filtered halogens the higher you go in color (K) index, the less output in light.

Maybe its just me, but I know that when it rains, I find it harder to see with the xenons than with halogens. Maybe I should invest in some fogs.

I used to have the Sylvania 5400K HIDs and they were MUCH brighter than main headlights!

Thing is I want the small round fogs in black housings on this car. Like the PIAA 999's (HID) :

But I may have to settle on the 998' for the same look, (but halogen H3's) I don't want to pay $1500 for HID fogs...

OK first of all.. those bulbs r NOT real HID. even tho they look like HID but they r NOT... let s say u r driving at night under Normal condition. u cant really see that good with the blue ish white light reflect on the BLACK Road. Even tho when u see it from the front , the light is WHITE. but when the light goes on to the road is Dark Color, and road is dark color too. u know what i mean? And the regular factory bulbs r yellowish white.. it s the LIGHT not dark color.

I put all kinda HID wannabe bulbs on my avalon before.. Piaa.. Supervision, evolution, Matrix blah blah.... but i still could see the best at night with my orignal factory bulbs.
