I know that the Vin number can tell you the paint code for your car, but can it tell you anything about the interior? Specifically what color the wood trim is. My girlfriend has a MDX and I'm buying her one of the all wood shift knobs and don't know if it's Mahogony or Burlwood.

 

The VIN won't tell you paint or interior color. There should be a tag inside the door for paint.
