Damn, you old farts need to lighten up. He did a burnout on tires he was going to replace. As long as there wasnt wheehop I'm sure it didnt hurt anything. Probably not the healthiest thing to roll backwards and dump the clutch, but its his car and Im sure he realizes that the clutch is a wearable item. And the rev limiter is there for a reason, and who ever said he was banging off the limiter? You can do a burnout without doing that if you're not a moron.

And if he ran 14.3 bone stock, on stock tires I'd say he is a good driver. That kind of time isnt the norm on here, most people are 14.5-14.7.

How can you give someone crap for doing a burnout when you have nitrous? I would bet that nitrous is more detrimental over the life of the car than a burnout every once in awhile, in the 6 speed anyway.

jtkz, you're a good man. No shit to anyone else or to the guy in the video. That GTI is clean, good job on it. The CL is dope too, and ... really.. it's his car, what difference does it make what he's doin?

I think there aren't nearly enough videos posted so I enjoyed it not only cause it's a CL video but it was excellent to watch a CL emerge out of that giant cloud of smoke.
