i can't see on a bad day for you that you would lose to any 350z

there are very few 350z that are on the street running below 14.0
to run a 13.7-13.9 i believe you have to be a good driver and in most cases the time can't be repeated.

my cousin has a 350z and after 4 months he finally hit 13.9 on one of his passes but he's never been back so far his fastest time is been 14.20.

my quickest time that day was a 14.30. it was 73 degrees w/ 50% humidity.

i've run 14.16 and 14.17 when the temps were ~ 50 degrees.

on the run w/ the 350, his trap was 97.60, mine was 99.07. gotta love that cl-s top end.

anybody who thinks a stock auto or 6mt cl-s can hang with a 6mt 350z is living in a dream world.

it ain't happening.

with all my mods i can barely keep up w/ one. i might be able to slightly pull on one from an 80mph roll on the freeway.

once the z has mods, fuggedaboutit. :shakehd:

i would still pick the cl-s over the z
maybe if nissan upgrades the interior i'll revist the dealership
CL HAS LUXURY AND SOME BALLS AS WELL

that's why i went with the lightning
can't wait to show one my svt rear badge

lightningman, have you run that bad boy SVT at the track yet? if so what times have you gotten? I don't like many american cars and fewer trucks but I sure as hell love those Lightnings!

not yet , but will be soon. still going through a move, just did a out of province move so life has been pretty hectic.

when i had bought the truck i did have a chance to get to the track with the svt people (dealership has 2 meets a year for the svt's that they have sold) and with 5,000km's i was able to pull 13.47
with the newly installed mods the SVT people at the dealer figured i should be in the 12.5-12.9 range.
