very quick question about oil changes
Sorry about the newb questions but all i need to do is unscrew a cap under the car and let the oil drain right? is the cap behind the front bumper? just regular conventional motor oil is fine right? of course the right type tho.
Gonna try to change the oil my self after watching this vid:

The drain bolt is not right behind the front bumper. It's back by the oil pan, which is right behind the right front wheel. Use 5w-30 or 5w-20. I would use synthetic, but that's just me.

i haven't gone to a quickie lube since they stripped my oil drain plug in my old prelude. it had a steady leak and they didn't even tell me.
it took my dad and i all day to remove the oil pan, drill out the old stripped plug, then weld a new one back in. bastards. never again.

Don't forget the crush washer that goes on the oil drain plug too...
I'm not sure if the quicky lube place I use changes 'em, so I'm have to check next time. If they don't change 'em, I'l have to buy a bunch and give 'em one to use...
They are cheap, and can be sourced from the dealer or on ebay...

I made them buy me a new oil pan, which the District Manager did.

never mind, manual says 29ft-lbs.
