Very Good News... Very Very Good News.
Just sold my 98 3.2 TL and bought an 03 Type S 6-speed in San Marino Red / Parchment Interior / With Navi....
I'm 1 of 61 in the US. Anybody else in here with me?
Flying from ATL to Chicago to pick it up and drive it 12 hours back. I think I'll program the Navi to take me through some windy back roads.

Congrats on the Purchase... I've got the same car but w/o navi...
Finally someone who has figured out that the 6spds aren't as rare as some people think... If you look long and hard enough, you can find exactly what you want... even if it's one of only 61...
We get alot of noobs here complaining that they can't find a 6spd but they have probably limited their searches to a small geographic area AND have only been looking for a short time...

I was surprised at how many of the CLS-6's I looked at were absolutely beat-on. Something's wrong when my 7 year old Saab w/130K looked better than a 3 year old car with 40K. Even the one I bought had more cosmetic flaws than I typically would deal with, but the car was in such good mechanical shape that I couldn't pass it up. Of course I am much more anal retentive than most, so everyone who's looked at my CL has said it was mint.

CLS 6MT Navi
Congrats, I like the Red. I did the same thing. I flew from Austin TX to OKlahoma to get mine. It had 7500 miles and was like new. It was scary, but fun to fly away and buy a car I'd only seen in pictures. It was all good and I got a great deal at the time, apparently no one in OK wanted a coupe or a shifter. Have fun!

There is currently FOUR listed within 42 miles of my house now on autotrader alone... I'm sure I could find another couple on ebay, craigslist, and cars.com...
Locating cars isn't that hard... but since so many people out there are too clueless to find them for themselves, I've thought about starting a locating service like some others out there...
Patience is a virtue... If you search for longer then a week, you find a car close to home
For some reason people think they need a car RIGHT NOW !! But all they have to do is wait a bit, and a one always pops up close to home...

I looked for a month on ebay and autotrader and found one (NBP 6 spd) in ATL. Flew down there 2 days later and drove it back to Memphis.
I called the guy as I was leaving his neighborhood to ask for directions back to the highway and he said "That's what you've got the navigation for." Duh.

Tell me how your engine faired while up in chicago. I bought mine the same way and I had some salt deposits (white film) all over my bolts. Coming from down south we don't get much of that and was surprised to see it.
